X-1B is a high-rise tower for aviation-related services with 39 above-ground floors and 3 underground floors. The building is 200m high and covers an area of 92,369.59 square meters on a site of 4,917.62 square meters. The tower is a frame-shear wall structure with a height of approximately 200m (194.38m from the top of the steel column to the top). The thickest steel plate used is 50mm, and the total amount of steel used is approximately 10,213 tons.
The steel structure of the tower adopts a core-tube and steel frame structure. The bottom of the outer steel frame is at an elevation of -16.3m, and the top is at an elevation of 194.38m. Due to the characteristics of the project and the lifting capacity of the tower crane, the above-ground steel columns are divided into sections of two or three floors. The core tube and outer frame structure adopt a "synchronous climbing at different heights" method for continuous construction. The lower part of X-1B tower adopts a freeform curved grid structure, which is about 176m in length and 12-50m in width. The testing tower column for high voltage in this project is constructed with a steel lattice framework, where the steel column reaches a height of 44.5 meters and a maximum span of 41.4 meters. It features an insert-type column base with a cup-shaped foundation and a roof panel exceeding 70 meters in length.
The main body of the lattice column comprises a combination of channel steel and angle iron sections forming a composite cross-section at the lower part, which is prone to overall weakness during the construction process. To address the issue of smooth force transmission during lifting, and to reduce the risk of steel column fracture, the welding work had to be carried out at ultra-high altitudes, requiring a high level of welding skill due to the small opening of the cup and the deep depth.
Additionally, the project faced challenges related to manual labour required for transporting the roof panels, which posed the risk of panel damage due to manual handling. Furthermore, it was necessary to ensure the safety of future maintenance workers while avoiding water leakage caused by roof opening.

It connects the ecological city and the science and Technology City in Binhu District, the Hushuguan Economic Development Zone in Yangshan District, the Fengqiao Street and Shishan Street in the central city area, and transfers between the terminal station of Suzhou Paradise Station and the rail transit line 1 and the planned rail transit line 3.

I. General situation of the project
The project starts at the west side of Hufu Road intersection and ends at the west side of 312 National Highway intersection with a total length of 0.611 km. The whole project is mainly composed of four parts: elevated expressway reconstruction, ground auxiliary road, ramp approach slope and temporary connecting road.
II. Highlights of Engineering
In the demolition of the anti-collision guardrail of the old bridge in the project, the construction methods of wire saw cutting and crane hoisting are adopted to ensure the safety of the existing bridge structures.

1. General situation of the project:
Ganjiang Road is located in the central part of Suzhou City, with a total length of 7.1Km. It is an important transportation trunk road connecting Suzhou High-tech Zone and Industrial Park. The main contents of the project are: 256000 square meters of fast and slow lane construction; 83000 square meters of pavement on sidewalks; 45,000 meters of flank stones; 3 new bridges, and all the rest are repaired. Restoration of the four sections of Bachelor's Street-Nurturing Lane, Heqiao-Chengyuqiao due to track construction landfill channel, renovation of bank revetment, partial addition of railings.

1. General situation of the project:
The project is located in the southeast corner of Shihu scenic area, adjacent to Youxin Elevation in the East and Wuzhong Avenue in the south. The project includes six roads, three barges, nine bridges and landscape greening at the entrance of South Square. Seven of them are porous arch bridges, all of which adopt composite arch rings. Two are girderless slab bridges. The pipelines built by the project are all located in the Shihu scenic area, which is surrounded by the Shihu scenic area for one week. The project cost is 86 million yuan.

I. General situation of the project
This project is the East-West urban trunk road of Wujiang City and an important urban trunk line of Binhu New Town. The total length of the road is about 3740 meters, with a planned width of 44 meters, two-way 6 lanes and three new simply supported girder bridges. The project starts at Wumou Road intersection in the East and reaches the new embankment in Taihu Lake in the west, with an investment of about 180 million yuan.

I. General situation of the project
The project covers an area of about 140,000 square meters. It covers Jinqiao Road in the north, Hulian Road in the south, Pailou Road in the East and Suhu Road in the west. It can be summarized as "two roads, two stations and one square", namely Jinqiao Road, Hulian Road, social vehicle parking station, the first and last stop of public transport, and Central Landscape Square.

The third phase of Suzhou Expo Center (Pavilion 1 and Pavilion 2) is located in the south of Modern Avenue, the east of Guanfeng Street and the north of Cuiyuan Road. It is a large-scale exhibition complex with exhibition, conference, hotel, leisure and integration. Its building area is about 159,000 feet, and its ground area is about 65,000 feet, with an area of 94,000 feet above ground and two basement floors. The span of steel truss is 90 cm.

The project has a total floor area of 330,000_, three floors underground, 43 floors of office building, 214.8 meters high, core tube steel frame structure; 38 floors of hotel building, 164.9 meters high, steel frame stiff structure outside core tube, which was completed on July 2, 2012 and July 27, 2015. The project has the following technical characteristics: construction of deep and large foundation pit adjacent to Metro in soft soil area, construction of main structure of super high-rise building, installation of overhead corridor of multi-storey steel truss with rigid connection at both ends of settlement joint, installation of catenary steel roof with large height difference, etc.

The total construction area of the project is 84181, which is composed of main building and skirt building. Among them, the above-ground building area: 60 520 feet, underground 2 floors, above-ground 21 floors, building height of about 100 meters, started on August 11, 2011, completed on July 15, 2014. Ten new technologies (8, 23) have been applied in the construction industry. The exterior facade of the project is a hyperboloid curved glass curtain wall with an area of about 4100 square meters. The roof of skirt building is composed of photovoltaic glass roof and four open glass skylights. The energy saving effect is remarkable.

The production, operation and dispatching integrated house of Suzhou Power Supply Company is located on the south side of Suzhou Labor Road and on the east side of the power plant circuit, with convenient transportation. The total construction area of the project is about 51700_, of which 22 floors are on the upper part of the main building, 29015_is on the ground floor, the second floor is on the ground floor, and the building area is 10230. It is a comprehensive building responsible for power supply dispatch, office and conference in five counties and cities of Suzhou.

Taihu Cultural Forum International Conference Center is located in Taihu Holiday Resort, Suzhou City. It is a national permanent cultural industry base integrating forum and exhibition. Contracted by Suzhou Erjian Construction Group Co., Ltd., the building area is 65783. Construction started on 17 June 2008 and completed on 15 September 2009. The construction industry has applied 9 items and 30 sub-items of 10 new technologies, reaching the leading level in China as a whole, and developed and applied the "manufacturing technology of large section I-beam webs plus large air duct holes" and "construction technology of prefabricated composite risers", which have been divided into provincial and national construction methods.

Binglin Library in the new campus of Suzhou University is a steel reinforced concrete frame-shear wall structure with an underground floor and eight floors above ground. It has a building area of 31074, a total height of 396 m and a total cost of 125 million yuan. The project started on 16 December 2004 and was completed and put into use on 20 September 2006. At the beginning of the project, quality planning should be carried out according to the quality target of creating "Luban Award". Detailed control should be paid attention to, and the word "essence" should be highlighted. In the construction of the project, 26 sub-items of the 10 new technologies of the Ministry of Construction and 3 other new technologies have been actively applied, and they have been awarded the fifth batch of demonstration projects for the application of new technologies in China and won the leading title in China.

The comprehensive business building of Suzhou State Tax Bureau is a frame structure building with three floors, one floor underground, six floors above ground and nine floors in part. The building area is 31810 feet and the total height is 42.6m. It is the only intelligent office building in Suzhou that integrates state tax service and office. The project started on December 8, 2000 and was completed and put into use on April 25, 2003. It has set up another modern landmark building for the ancient urban area of Suzhou.

500 kV Kunshan Shipai Substation is a large regional hub substation project connecting Jiangsu and Shanghai power grids. Civil construction adheres to high standards, strict requirements and strict quality control, which ensures the perfect function and stable and reliable operation of power stations, and reaches a new height of civil construction of substations in China's power system.

The experimental building of Suzhou University covers an area of 23478 square meters. It has six floors of main building and seven floors of local building with basement. The plane shape of the building presents a "U" shape. The main axis is 118 m in length from east to west and 60.90 m in length from north to south. It has become a scene of the trunk road of Suzhou, an ancient city. The whole building is divided into six independent structural units by six "settlement-seismic joints". The main types of foundation are pre-stressed beam raft foundation, under-column independent foundation, composite beam raft foundation, etc. The upper structure is concrete and pre-stressed reinforced concrete frame structure, and the basement is a six-level civil air defense fortification. The project started on April 18, 2000 and was completed on May 28, 2001.

New Town Garden Hotel project is a landmark building in Suzhou New Area with novel facade, elegant appearance and modern atmosphere. The total area of the project is 26749, which is composed of main building, skirt house and subsidiary room. The project was officially started on October 15, 1994, and was successfully completed on August 27, 1997, and delivered to the owner for use. After acceptance by the quality supervision station of the new area, it was assessed as a good grade, which fully meets the design requirements. In 1998, Xincheng Garden Hotel was awarded as a high quality project in Suzhou and Jiangsu Province.

The Mechatronic Installation Project of Yuanrong Plaza of High-speed Railway New Town is located in the east of Min 6 Road, south of Nantiancheng Road, west of Minjinghe River and north of Qinglonggang Road in Xiangcheng District of Suzhou City. The total area of the project is 230052 square meters, and the cost of the project is 180 million yuan. The scope of contract is general contract of mechanical and electrical installation project.

The contract scope includes water supply and drainage installation works, electrical system installation works and HVAC works.

The building area is 54391 square meters, two floors underground and twenty-four floors above ground. The total height of the building is 95.8 meters. It is a multi-functional building with hotel apartment as the main part and commercial supporting as the supplement. The hotel apartment building has a total of 24 floors. This project all adopts fair-faced concrete formwork system, the whole project does not do secondary decorative plastering, the structure takes shape once, which avoids the hollowing and cracking of plastering and saves the cost. The exterior facade of this project is curved, and the large facade is decorated by various curtain wall forms. The whole aluminium panel curtain wall is equipped with color lines and color blocks that protrude the wall, as well as some glass curtain walls and stone curtain walls. The use of various curtain walls makes the whole building three-dimensional and colorful.

Located in the north of Zhongyuan Road and east of Wansheng Street, Suzhou Industrial Park is one of the landmark buildings of Suzhou Industrial Park. The project is divided into two parts: the main building and the skirt building. The total area of the building is 70040.19_with 23 floors above ground and an area of 48618.52. The second floor of the underground is a parking lot with an area of 20969.80. The total height of the building is 99.90 m and the highest structure is 111.2 M. Tightly organized and carefully managed in technical innovation, quality control, safety and civilization, and passed the acceptance on April 28, 2012. During this period, the project has won awards such as "AAA Class Safety, Civilization, Standardization and Integrity Site in 2011", "Jiangsu Excellent Survey and Design Award", "The 17th batch of Jiangsu Province Construction Industry New Technology Application Demonstration Project in 2012", "Yangtze Cup of Jiangsu Province Quality Project in 2014", "Zijin Cup of Jiangsu Province Construction Decoration Quality Project".

The skirt building is fan-shaped, the main building is Y-shaped, the outer arc radius is 39 m, and the core tube is circular with a radius of 12 M. The building area is 81942, 18 floors above ground, 79.1 m high and 1 floor underground. The unique shape and novel layout of the project have established the complex coordinate system of the plane axis of the building and the various characteristics of the three-dimensional structure. Therefore, the construction survey, especially the positioning and alignment of the plane and the transmission of the axis are one of the difficulties of the project. Foundation construction of deep foundation pit in main building, anti-cracking measures of super-thick floor and wall, pouring methods and measures of mass concrete floor are the second difficult points of this project. The third difficulty of this project is to install curtain wall with unit glass curtain wall and aluminium panel curtain wall, skirt house with granite veneer, and curtain wall with arc shape of external facade.

The construction area of the project is 14967.1_, the East-West length of the building is 118.5 m, and the North-South width is 70.251 M. Local underground layer 1, above ground layer 3. Construction started on April 13, 2005, passed the main acceptance on September 9, 2005, and completed acceptance on September 15, 2006. There are 450 *1500 beams with 18 m span on the inclined roof of reception hall, and the net height of the beams is 15.57 M. The new formwork system of adjustable bracket support and laminated plywood is adopted in construction. Open joint-retaining dry-hanging stone curtain wall requires high quality perception. We adopt back-bolt construction technology to maximize the adjustment of stone installation. The project passed the acceptance of Jiangsu New Technology Application Demonstration Project in November 2006. The expert group agreed that the overall level of the project's popularization and application technology reached the advanced level in China.

Located in the north of Wangdun Road and east of Huachi Street, Suzhou Industrial Park, it covers an area of 5.32 hectares, with a total floor area of 165889 square meters, about 290 meters long and 125 meters wide. Four floors above ground and two floors below ground. Shoppingmall, which integrates catering and commerce, is one of the landmark buildings along Jinji Lake in Suzhou Industrial Park. Construction started on June 18, 2006 and completed on February 5, 2010. The foundation consists of 2465 precast concrete Uplift-Resistant square piles with a length of 15 meters and 450 mm by 450 mm. The main structure concrete is C40. The cast-in-situ reinforced concrete slab is used. The typical floor thickness is 120 mm. The superstructure is divided into two structural units with the length of 120 m and 145 m respectively by setting anti-seismic joints. In order to enhance the bearing capacity and ductility, concrete filled steel tubular columns are used in the surrounding columns of large space, steel reinforced concrete beams are used in the surrounding beams, and H-shaped steel beams are used in the roof beams of buildings to reduce the beam height to meet the service requirements.

Changshu Public Security Command Center is composed of two towers which are independent of each other's functions but combined in form. Its building area is 32500.
